I've been coming to King Spa since 2017 and the quality has been consistent in terms of cleanliness and services.

When you first arrive you are given a key with a number on it, that corresponds with your locker for both your shoes and belongings. This key also acts as a NFC device to pay for food or services. You now must leave your ID at the front desk when you enter, which you get returned to you when you leave. There is a fairly large wet area that is separated into men's and women's sections, with showers, hot tubs, a cold pool and sauna. Once you get into the co-ed area, there are 11 different rooms and areas you can relax in. Each room is fairly large, enough to fit anywhere from 6-8 people in it at once, in addition to some bigger areas upstairs, where there are lounge chairs. There is a fairly large Korean Cafe, where you can buy drinks, snacks, or Korean food. The food is fairly good and the portions are decent, but prices have gone up since the 2020.

King Spa is open 24 hours, but the wet areas are closed for cleaning daily in the early mornings and reopen at 7am. I suggest buying passes on Groupon, where you can save anywhere from 40-50% off the price.

The spa is very clean. You leave your shoes at the entance to locker room and you will not need shower sandals. There is a large wet area for each gender with showers, seated showers, whirlpools of various temperatures and a cold pool. There is a dry sauna and 2 steam rooms (hot and hotter) in the wet area. Towels are permitted but swimsuits are not allowed. In the large coed area there is a small eating area. I would give the Chinese food I tried twice 2 stars; it was greasy and lacked flavor, but the coed saunas are amazing with special materials like amethyst, salt, ochre, charcoal, gold and various stones to facilitate detoxification, relaxation and health. It was not brave enough to try a special scrub, massage or treament not enter the blazing hot fire sudatorium. I do recommend paying the extra $5 to use the base rock room. For first time visitors there is a significant coupon on the website. Frequent visitors can get a smaller coupon at the grocery store next door.
