Went to Parkside Spa earlier today. I arrived around 2pm and stayed for about 2 hours. Facilities are new and it was spotless clean. At the entrance you are provided it’s a key for your foot locker and there is also a fob which you use to open the locker. You are provided also a uniform to use in common are since is coed.During my visit, I just stayed in the wet are. It has a cold pool, a warm pool, a steam room, and cypress wood sauna. I started with the steam room, which is my favorite and relaxed for a while. After 10 minutes I showered and got in the cold pool which was freezing. It was that cold that it hurt, but I endure it a bit and it was a good feeling. The sauna was not as warm as I expected, therefore 4 stars rating. I got a body scrub and it felt really good. This was my first scrub, so I do not have a comparison point, but after my skin felt extremely soft and I was relaxed. While I was there, there were around 7 to 8 patrons which was good since both steam and sauna are not that large allowing people to relax without being crowded. There are toiletries available in the locker room and showers have shampoo, conditioner, and soap dispensers. There are communal regular showers as well as sitting showers. Towels are really small and you are provided wi5 only 3 when at the entrance. I was not able to find towels available to grab, so after the shower I relaxed for a while and used the two towels I have left to dry. Above all, I would return whenever I’m in the area.

I went to Parkside a few weeks ago with my husband and some friends. Overall it was a fantastic experience. The spa seems to be relatively new, so it was very clean, had a number of amenities, and was an all in all good time.

From the separated men's side, they had a cold (very cold) tub, hot tub, steam room, and dry sauna. It also had both standing and traditional sitting showers. There is also a space for scrubs, but note that it is totally visible to other patrons.

In the very large shared space the spa also has two dry saunas and a cold room. Additionally, they have a rest and dining room.

My previous experience in other k-spas was fine, but my experience at Parkside was a breath of fresh air! I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in experiencing a high (and cost effective) k-spa day.
